Doc Vin & Mc KB
DOC VIN first entered the world of underground music back in 1990 when he went to his first rave back in the days of Quest – since then has been hooked and never looked back…
He went to university in southampton, having had a pair of decks for 2 years had started to DJ at small parties and pubs as a warm up drum and bass dj.

He has been renowned for his versatility of styles, playing anything from liquid sets through to dark sets and played at some of the best venues in the south such as Fabric, Bagleys along with some of the biggest artists…
Having moved back to the midlands Doc Vin has kept to his roots and still DJs’s with the charisma and passion as he did when he started all those years ago, with the same versatility and styles which is something that has certainly given him the reputation that he has earned with his hard work in DJing..
Recent artists that he has dj’ed alonside include D-bridge, Vicious Circle, Total Science, Icicle, Phil Source – and has some major gigs in teh pipeline with his new partner MC KB – whom he met 2 years ago, adding a brand new dimension to his sets..
Along with 2 other DJS he is involved in a dnb night called Rush – concentrating on the deeper side of dnb, and his own project MEDICATION – promoting the darker side of the spectrum…
His most recent achievment has been winning the PARADOX competition based in Southampton with best mix from over 100 from all over the country where he has won a residency at the most prestigious night in the south coast to add to his own nights and INTENT2SUPPLY based in london
MC KB’s ear’s were blessed with Jungle drum and bass back in 1996, with Drum and Bass finding a larger audience, the scene grew and quickly became his a big part of his life. Much of his time spent listening to anything and everything in the genre, but it was the sounds of producers like Stakka and Skynet, Dom & Roland, Goldie, SS, sounds of Hardware, Bad company and Virus recordings that inspired him to dedicate time to the movement.
MC’ing became an interest after hearing the talents of MC DET, GQ, Fun, Foxy, Trigga, Spyda and Juiceman in the earlier days. Keeping the crowd bubbling, improving the sound of the event and giving Drum and Bass that unique flavour.
Residing in Cheltenham and representing the scene in the Midlands, most of the earlier sets were organised house partys and open raves, finding his sound, the style and techniques. With Drum and Bass being recognised in his home town more and more, opportunitys arose to showcase his style.
KB has hosted with artists such as Nosia, Generation Dub, Baron, Callide, Nicky Blackmarket, Chase & Status, Icicle, Phil Source, Cyantific and Dom & Roland.
